Two policemen wounded in Chittagong injured

In the court order, two people were injured in an attack on the police members who seized the property of the absconding accused in Banshkhali in Chittagong.

The relatives of the accused jailed with Banshkhali Police Station ASI Pradip Chakravarty and Nurunnabi Tipu for hurting them.

Banshkhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Kamal Hossain told bdnews24.com that the incident took place in the village of South Jaldi of the upazila.

He told the TVS Live.com that a young man named Zamir Uddin Kalu was accused in a case filed with Chandanish police station (326) (shot with arms).

 The court ordered him to cross his estate because the land was run for long. A team of Banshkhali Police Station police went to his house at noon on the court’s order.

The relatives of the land attacked the police members with sharp weapons and sticks. Two of them were injured.

The injured Pradip was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital and Nurunnabi was taken to local Upazila Health Complex.

OC Kamal said both were fearless.
